Moms' Moments — Coordinator:  Sonja Runstadler

If you're a mom who lives in the Loveland, Landen, Maineville, Morrow or Goshen area this is a program that's designed with you in mind!

Moms’ Moments is a growing ministry for moms in our community. This program provides a wonderful way to connect moms with each other in an informal and laid-back setting.  It's a program for moms that's run by moms - moms just like you!

With a cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate or OJ in hand, and a plate of "non-fattening" (OK, sometimes fattening!) delicious morning desserts, moms gather together to share in the following "moms' moments": 

• weekly informal discussions on selected portions of the Bible, a Christian book or just the "hot" topic of the moment, always applying God's perspective to our lives...,

• weekly "coffee clutch" times to just sit with the girls and talk away and meet and make some new mom friends...,

• seasonal craft times, creating and sharing craft ideas for family fun...,

• special informative & interesting guest speakers, sharing insights regarding a wide range of topics, most often sharing fun tid-bits of helpful "mom-related" information (these include medical personnel covering topics such as the ER, pediatrics and adolescent medicine, local fire & police covering home & travel safety, culinary chef skills and more)...,

• "Body-Building" fun featuring special mornings stretching out to jammin' Christian Aerobics on the "big screen," or makeovers by local salon experts...,

• Quarterly "Mom's Real Day Out Field Trips" to local venues that every mom would love to visit but just can't seem to find the time in her busy, busy schedule...,

• and more!

These special "moms' moments" have become a much-anticipated time during the week for those involved, as it’s become a special time in which women gather with new-found friends who truly care about one another. The moms involved have found this to be a place of unconditional love and support, where they can “be real” with other moms who can relate to what they are going through as a mom, a wife, a woman. At Moms’ Moments, we provide a “refuge” amidst other moms from the daily challenges all moms face, and together we “refuel” with what we need to better face those challenges. We acknowledge and share that the common denominator of what we all need is Jesus, and the real hope, real love, and real promises of God.

Moms' Moments meets on Wednesday mornings beginning at 9:00 AM and the program runs until 11:15 AM.  We gather together in the Family Life Center of Crosspointe Community Church.   Quality childcare is provided for those moms with young children.  Come as you are… & check us out!
